okay im so mad right now ~!just saw a video about Taiwanese stars insulting Singaporean English and how theydont understand our english. seriously ?as if their english is very good !yeah some singaporean dont speak good english,thats because that how we grew up, BUT that doesnt meanour english writing skills sucks ,we are used to speaking singlish, and personally .speaking singlish make me feel like true singaporean, we are the onlycountry that speaks PURE singlish ! most Golden citizen these days are learning to speak proper englishbut sometime they just cant get rid of the singlish , but thats okayat least they tried, im sure many rmbr when we took our N level , theres aunty and uncles taking ENGLISH PAPER & ENGLISH LITERATURE !honestly i was proud of them ! despite being old they are learning.lets take China for example. i rmbr watch Channel News Asia during the Olympic,many cabbie were learning english and practice english by speakingthem. and correcting one another if they pronounce it wrongly.and their courage was VERY ADMIRABLE ! 1 Cabbie dont quite understandwhat the American couple was asking, but he tried his best to answer tho'he answer them out of point. people like him are very brave ! and i applaud them.GO CHINA ! lol./that goes for Singaporean ! we learn to speak . by practicing them.using them all the time or when given the chance~!practice makes perfect. so i dont understand why these Taiwan artiste want to insult Singapore culture when they themselves dont speak englishas good as the Americans except those who study abroad which brings meto my next point . most Singaporean study in Singapore, and we dont have muchchance to communicate with people from the West . thus our accents.so we speaks with our local accents . so what the hell is wrong with that ?i dont see anything wrong ? we tried our best and are improving.and to those who are learning English :dont be dishearten by people who try to put u down,try ur best to prove them wrong . they thinks that theyare highly educated to insult people who are still learning. DONT GIVE UP ! JIA YOU JIA YOU JIA YOU ~!
